Fucking detest the faff, installed an internal drive in one of the SC6000’s and just use that as my main tunes drive.
Then just use the inbuilt filters to work through tunes using native categories.

In all seriousness, it sounds like you’re misinterpreting how engine dj manages file synchronisation.
Be easier to watch a few vids to get a handle on, then just delete all your enginedb’s and just reimport everything.
It doesn’t need you to do this so you can go play on your console and come back to a fresh new config.
