mono-stereo …yeah it’s great, sound is super-transparent as you’d imagine. Built like a tank and don’t listen to anyone that says the layout is shonky, I absolutely love it now.
Weirdly ‘hi-fi’ in terms of operation… I think of a lot of the new breed of DJ mixers like the Pio’s are quite forgiving in terms of the way the filters etc. are set-up for mixing, this is kinda the opposite in that it encourages long blends and can be quite revealing.
There is now a JFET option, which adds a bit of harmonic distortion/colour, i’m imagining to please the retro rotary types, but I genuinely can’t see the point of buying an Isonoe and wanting that.
I guess the only slight regret I have is choosing the rubberised black finish, absolutely bulletproof… but picks up fingerprints like a m/f. Might remedy that at some point though 😉
