I’ve got a load of Reactivate CDs - fucking loved them back in the day. Club 414 in Coldharbour Lane used to me a haunt of mine for quite a bit.

bosstrabs Heard she’s an absolute POS in real-life.

She’s an absolute Point of Sale?

Dan the first half of disc one is really good. goes downhill at save me, but the first bit is great house music.

I listened to that free with Mixmag Trance and Bass CD more than is generally recommended. I never sought out anything else in that particular genre as that was probably enough but I enjoyed it at the time.

bosstrabs Pretty sure she was playing for Bugged Out and had a major meltdown. Not welcomed back was the outcome.

Can’t say I’ve see anyone actually bash it per se (cue people bashing it), but because it was compiled by Pete Tong, and the fact I’ve never heard anyone (other than myself) talk about it on here, I’ll say: -

Ministry Of Sound - The Annual 2 (CD1)

Vague now and then mixed by TWA. What a night that was

Phil-McRackin that was terrible music, and what made it worse was that John B produced some amazing drum n bass. His Visions album was fantastic

loved this for years, but listened to it recently and it was terrible. Not sure why I thought it was so good

    a year later

Have I seen Simian Mobile Disco play at The Exit festival in Serbia?

    I have!

alistair LSG’s - Hidden Sun of Venus is in my all time time 10

    solarstone - chilled out euphoria

bosstrabs Her best effort, and two very different mixes

Since you posted this I’ve listened to Miss Kittin’s two Bugged Out discs a few times.

They’re certainly a bit bolder than her Radio Caroline and Electroclash mixes, but I can’t say I prefer them.

Perhaps it’s because I’m less easily impressed, or because I’m more familiar with a range of electronic music, but I find it a bit too obvious in places and I already knew a lot of the tracks. I also think the discs are a bit more patchy and less coherent in their themes and mood than the other two mix CDs.

They certainly hit harder in general than those other mixes, but that’s not always everything.

My favourite bit of the discs is actually that largely acapella cover/mix of ‘Easy Lee’. It was very surprising for a number of reasons, I never knew such a thing existed.

Steve Lawlers GU is absolutely fantastic imo, however I know a lot of people despise it
