Mad_Cyril Agree with the overall sentiment, but Buenos Aires was the one that was very good.

Job done. Close the thread.

All of Digweed’s after Sydney

*With the exception of Fabric

& Sasha Fabric : Glorious opportunity missed….at least John’s sounded like 80 minutes of main room action.

Heno Budapest was good, had a lot of peak-time driving tracks.

Dan & Sasha Fabric : Glorious opportunity missed…

Agreed. It was a strange mix and apart from that big wonky breaks track in the middle it wasn’t really representative of the stuff he plays there.

mono-stereo 90% of the Fabric CDs

Many of the first 20 or so were superb.

Very hit and miss after that initial run though.

mono-stereo Last time I went he did 3 till 9am. He played all sorts.

mono-stereo not listened to that many, but based on my experiences that’s a very good shout. They always seemed to be missing something.

Dan Yup. Exactly. I guess it’s not really possible to distill all of those extended sets over the years into a short mix.

Nick’s Rekjavic cd1 was way better than any Digweed GU

Prob never heard Renaissance 2 and likes Mrs Brown’s Boys

          I agree with Alistair.

Disc 1 of Reykjavik probably has to be in the top 5 GU discs, surely? Just a shame Disc 2 was bobbins.

I have never listened to a Digweed GU and felt the urge to dance. Bloodless BSPF for blokes. His live at cds are a different story.

            Lol. Brutal riposte from jy!

Is Northern Exposure trance? Witness for the prosecution

Humate, Cygnus x, x cabs, speedy j, armin, lost tribe, taucher, transa, armin, LSG the list goes on

alistair I have never listened to a Digweed GU and felt the urge to dance. Bloodless BSPF for blokes.

              Seriously, the fuck ?!??

I always thought they were pretty wank, sound flat (sound not the tunes) and out of context.

alistair yeah NE 2 disc 2 is for sure trance. Maybe one would want to caveat some of it with the term ‘progressive trance’, but it’s still basically trance.

James Zabiela’s stuff was always pretty meh.

He had skills, but they were like putting chocolate sprinkles on a ricecake.
