alistair Is Northern Exposure trance? Witness for the prosecution Humate, Cygnus x, x cabs, speedy j, armin, lost tribe, taucher, transa, armin, LSG the list goes on
hugopal alistair yeah NE 2 disc 2 is for sure trance. Maybe one would want to caveat some of it with the term ‘progressive trance’, but it’s still basically trance.
SM001 alistair I have never listened to a Digweed GU and felt the urge to dance. Bloodless BSPF for blokes. Seriously, the fuck ?!??
Mad_Cyril alistair I always thought they were pretty wank, sound flat (sound not the tunes) and out of context.
hugopal James Zabiela’s stuff was always pretty meh. He had skills, but they were like putting chocolate sprinkles on a ricecake.
bosstrabs I’ve never rated Zabiela. Seen him a couple of times in his early days when he was getting rave reviews, usually he was playing a back room. Bored me senseless, wandered off after half an hour. S to the werve.
benson Saw him at space in 2004 with diggers on afters. I’d just finished uni and was on a 6 week break before starting work. Absolutely immense. Needed every day of the 4 weeks between that holiday and the real world to recover
Along_the_Wire Zabiela’s too clever - he was great when he first came into the scene - saw him at Space (stood in for Sasha and smashed the place to bits) and Snowbombing a couple of times, but after that, he disappeared up his arse. I’ve got a few of his mixes on CD that I’ve listened to just the once - tripe.
Smallman1 Dan His Renaissance ‘Alive’ mix was great in it’s day. Reminds me of living and ledging it in Sydney that CD.
