Amps I don’t have opinions on cocktails.

I was once in a bar in Beijing owned by two Seppo sisters who insisted on inventing their own cocktails, and they were offering me and my mate their concoctions.

One actually did have a big square block of ice in a martini glass. You figure out the logistics of trying to drink that. Seems like the kind of thing Pondwater would do.

Jon comparing AB to Crash is a fantastic analogy. Another embarrassing move to win best picture. Only diff is I don’t think people held them in quite the same esteem. Boomers really think/thought AB openly bared the American Soul.

MC is finally coming round, good man!

    Smallman1

I already mentioned that, Ed. Get with the program. One of Joey Negro’s worst moments and he has plenty. Including his stupid name.

You mention it, I post it.

We could be the new OLB and BF Jonatton!

The song that got Ed into clubbing iircc

When you grew up hanging out with Oakey and Tongy it’s hard to pinpoint what the exact track was.

Tongy will always be in my good books, him putting me on the guest list to see Carl Cox on Bondi Beach bring the Millennium in lives long in the memory!

All the films mentioned are great in my book. Except Crash. That was proper shit.

Along_the_Wire Same here, the scene with the guy strapped to the bed, you could hear a pin drop, pure shock in the audience. Come to think of it, I’ve never seen a movie that had an effect like that on people the first time seeing it. I assume its the same reaction audiences had when seeing Jaws or Alien for the 1st time. Thats whats missing nowadays. And its all Wally’s fault.

LT42 Thats whats missing nowadays. And its all Wally’s fault.

So true. When was the last time a film was as good as that?
