Nothing Dutch about it, that burger looks like a burger you get in a proper American gaff, the key being the fatty high quality meat slabs grilled with cheese oozing between them to get that umami flavour and not too many toppings, which is way better than the shite ‘gourmet’ burgers a lot of places in the UK do which is the complete opposite - £8 for a couple of dry patties and tons of toppings you don’t want (with a steak knife dumped through the top of the bun to hold it all together)…

    Happily, there are some amazing burger places in Brighton that are closer to the American style. Favourite uses locally reared beef, and a combination of chuck, short-rib and brisket. Think their burger patties are the best I’ve ever tasted…

        bosstrabs I like cheese tomato, onion and lettuce on a burger, but that’s it. Splash of ketchup and American mustard too.

          Or even worse, Chilli Con Carne slopped all over it
