You can get crumpets in any supermarket, Si. Even Aldi have them.

Lol. Don’t get me started! I didn’t want to make fun of DM for having only mash on his dish. He’s a top lad so i gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed his roasts were eaten sans crumpet but still on the same plate.
Crumpets with lashings of butter and some strong cheddar cheese on top. Perhaps a few drops of a hot sauce too. Marvellous stuff. Even better if it’s the giant crumpets
