You’re only really supposed to have mint sauce with lamb. It wouldn’t go at all with, say, beef (I think the traditional condiment is supposed to be horseradish).
But it completely overpowers the flavour of the lamb IMO.
Basically, it would be good to drown the flavour of shit quality food, I suppose.
