Not the kind of thing I can just go out and try unfortunately. My Shures were more than double that too. I’d put them against any Bluetooth ones. Be interesting to see.

Morty-C-137 Great phones…. all the kids have them and they’ve never gone wrong or smashed them.

Dan I dunno what bluetooth earphones you’ve tried, but I definitely don’t get drop outs

That was my next question to Grant. Is as Bluetooth connection sound better than a wired connection.

Dubman Don’t listen to him pffftttt

I had grant down as someone who puts his phone on loudspeaker and holds a brass trumpet to his ear to listen to Pick of the Pops.

You missed the ‘S’ off strumpet, Millsy

Hursty Don’t want to pull the trigger on the ultra? Will pick up in a couple of years.

iPhone 11 seeing its last days, will be getting the iPhone 15 Pro next month…

benson Nice one, preorders just opening up here. Think I’ll go with the blue one with 512GB. Not looking forward to being the ‘camera guy’ in the family, was one perk of having an iphone 11 as long as i have.

If you’re Asian, you’re already a camera guy by default.

This can never be the case, even with aptX or the comparable codecs.

But why do live musicians & singers often use wireless on stage especially singers.

Dubman They use IEMs as monitors to synchronise. If they were all wired, I’d imagine there would be distance limitation between the artists which would result in feedback from the different mics being in proximity to other instruments, or people tripping over long wires on stage. It also gives freedom to move around.

Latency is largely an issue of the past with modern wireless, but if you purely speaking in terms of quality nothing can beat silver wire as a conductor (unless you cool the wires to very low temps, but that is a bit off the question).

Think I’ll stick to wired. I am fussy regarding sound quality especially in headphones.
