On a slight tangent, and without wishing to give any positive promotion for either EE or the iphone, but this for me has to be the most irritating advert in a long time:

“Last year I told you EE had the best iPhone ever. I lied. It’s come to light the new iPhone 13 Pro is the best ever. I also said that EE was the UK’s best network 7 years running. I also lied. It’s now 8. I can’t change the past. I’m just a man, with the new iPhone in his hand and the truth in his heart.”

No, you floppy-haired muppet - the main lie in this advert is your false and absurd misuse of the term “lied”.

Another related egregious pile of baloney in the advert is when he claims “I can’t change the past”, despite the fact that by falsely claiming he previously lied he is attempting to do just that.

It’s incredible how much horseshit they’ve managed to cram in to such a sparse 30 seconds of video.

Along_the_Wire Reason I asked is that the 13 Pro is heavy in comparison to the 12 etc becuase of it’s additonal battery capacity. It seems like a brick in comparison to the X that I was using before.

hugopal Yeah, it’s a crap advert. My main problem with EE is the fact that it exisits in the first place.

We had two perfectly good carriers in Orange and T-Mobile before they merged. Less competation means we all get bent over more.

I was going to pick up the 13 but basically its a 12 with a new chip, happy to wait until the 14 for the next proper re-design

Hursty I think they’re all pretty much small incramental updates these days, despite the marketing. If I hadn’t broken my X by dropping it in the bath I wouldn’t of bothered upgrading.
