jonattonyeah Was quite underwhelmed by that Milton Jackson EP. Got my eyebrows up when I saw an EP from him on Freerange. Alas…
Wasily jonattonyeah Was quite underwhelmed by that Milton Jackson EP. Got my eyebrows up when I saw an EP from him on Freerange. Alas… I was too. Kept quiet after seeing a few good reviews on here.
Millsy Interesting to see a lot of, ahem, ‘dark disco’ in everyone’s list nowadays. Welcome to the dark side people
erik Carbon Based Lifeforms - Stochastic EP FREq - Strange Attractors (Green Lake Project remix) EANP - All Together Again Will DeKaiser - Metamorphosis EP Flaist - Entropia Old hut gold; Banco de Gaia - Last Train to Lhasa (Silinder remix)
mono-stereo Dan I’ve always found this with his tunes. He’s an incredible producer but isn’t really a tune smith. That’s why it worked well when he was with Sasha.
erik Wasily sort of… never heard this mix of Last Train and only found it because of you picking up hismix of Heliopolis. So, yeah 😂
Unbroken1 Wasily …couple of decent tracks, lovely pads on ‘Remember’ (prob the nearest to his old Urban Torque style), and one of the downtempo tracks, ‘Miami Voice’ is also really good IMO
alistair ScottBailey hazy memory but I think Sasha played it at Fabric. Perfect for that sound system
ScottBailey Dan think he was always going to struggle to live up to Bon Voyage, Zerotonine and FiCHpt2 in this day and age to be fair!
jonattonyeah Dan Bon Voyage Absolute monster. Power Prog at its best. And I was also underwhelmed by the EP. While I wasn’t exactly expecting Future In Computer Hell Part II (DISC 2!), was hoping for something more than BSPF.
jonattonyeah Unbroken1 Expectations being the mother of disappoinment. When he releases “Cycles” on Freerange however many years ago….one can’t help but get their hopes up. EDIT 14 years ago. Shoot me in the head already.
