jonattonyeah my co-worker is half of Morphology. His pet peeve is people getting on the electro-train because it’s been popular these past couple of years. He was really happy when I told him that after doing techno, then prog, then Klock-style techno again, Marco Bailey has now found electro. 😂

I’ve of course myself started to play the odd electro track in the last few years.

Homegrove Doesn’t that happen with every style of music. Scene hopping goes on as it’s trendy.

The rest of the EP isn’t good. But the track above is a stones throw away from trance and I like it. Nothing mind blowing but I have to pick five and like sharing a bit of variety.

As for genre hopping and whatnot, I don’t really care about motivations or the person’s history as long as I like the track (assuming it’s not a Ten Walls sort of situation). But I can understand it being grating for those closer to a scene or make music themselves. I don’t so I don’t have to take it all very seriously.

So much better than drunk buying vinyl from Hard To Find (“canned by Sasha!”) at 3 in the fucking morning. Seven days later a delivery arrives and you’re like
Wat. When. Why.

At least digital is easy on the wallet.

jonattonyeah dunnno, I’ve drunk bought so much nonsense off of beatport too. Probably 90% of my mixes đŸ˜
