jonattonyeah Yeah he’s been instrumental in the prog scene. He glued most of the classic GU mixes together. Exceptionally talented studio engineer according to those in the know.

jonattonyeah …find that’s often the case with his ep’s. Always worth checking out though.
Opened for him many moons ago. Must’ve been like 2002 or thereabouts. His records were very popular in San Francisco at the time. Props to the guy. Made a solid career for himself with underground House music going on, what, 25 years now?
EDIT just took a look. First release in 1997. Sounds alright! Defo hear the Carl Craig influence. but an okay tune!
Daniel Avery - Chaos Energy [Phantasy Sound]
Last Men on Earth - Pixel [Applied Magic]
Jordan Nocturne feat. Le Boom - Day 2 (Acid Version) [Permanent Vacation]
Retromigration - Secret of a Pimp (Jimpster Remix) [wewillalwaysbealovesong]
Frank Wiedemann & Trikk - Bruto [Innervisions]
Oldie of the week:
The Scumfrog - The Watersong (Athens Edit) [Scumfrog]
Yeah Innervisions has been disappointing for years now. Still take a listen as they pull out something good from time to time, but they’re like German Defected at this point. Find Kompakt more interesting.
EDIT still rate Dixon as a club DJ. Always delivered when I’ve seen him.
Soft cock prog imo
mono-stereo
Trainspotting bog prog
Homegrove Sort of like Anjunadeep for people who like that sort of a thing
Al catching strays!
Not me. Can’t stand that track. The Dixon mix is alright but the original is wispy, floaty nonsense.
jonattonyeah not sure if I’ve ever even heard the original.
Don’t correlate a label’s release with what the head honcho plays.
Digweed a good example.
