For a TLDR:

The 19 year-old Brit missing in Tenerife for 6 days after leaving a music festival is a scrote who had been involved in dealing Class As in the UK and had also recently been done for violent assault. And there are rumours his disappearance and the £30k Gofundme to “find him” is related to him having been apparently also dealing at such festivals around Spain and then getting kidnapped with a ransom due to having lost drugs/owed money.

hugopal it does seem a bit odd, and agree with your point that the media seem to be completely ignoring any details about who he actually is, and are making out it’s some innocent kid who has gone missing on holiday.

I’m guessing we will find out the truth sooner or later, I just wonder if the media report it

Hursty the media’s angle on this makes it more of a story than it is then. It’s not being reported as a drug dealer / thug gone missing, but some innocent kid.

RichM we’ve had a similar issue which is still going on round here, police issued a missing persons story for 2 lads in their 20s, then a week later then add in that actually they are suspected nonces and on the run.

If they were up front from the start there would have probably been caught by now

The Labour candidate who bet on himself to lose was a Tory who had defected to Labour - yet the headlines aren’t mentioning that, giving a misleading impression.

It’s almost as if the former Tory candidate has sabotaged the Labour Party.
