Data centres will eventually move under water to help offset energy demands, this type of stuff is studied and measured contantly, its just not for the layman and its certainly not mainstream news.

The best part of Cancun is Isla Mujeres, a short ferry and a world away. At least it was back in 2006.

After that head down south along the coast to Punta Allen for the best Mangos know to man (Not a euphemism) and get away from all those uncouth Yanks up the road.
