    Millsy Half day test drive of an EV6 a couple of months ago. Really liked it, and have got one on order, arriving in 4-5 months time.

    Big, but fun to drive. All the toys and gadgets you could imagine. Rapid. Gone for the 321bhp AWD model. Tempted by the GT model coming later this year, but needed to get something sorted sooner than that.

    Basically the same as the IONIQ5 under the bodywork, but preferred the look of the EV6. Looks mint in the dark blue paint.

          Bit weird in flesh imo, it’s like a hot hatch that’s been blown up, and as such has lost all it’s charm.

              Amps yeah, sat in one the other day and was underwhelmed with the interior considering all the reviews had raved about it.

                  yeah it looks like a blown up golf, odd proportions. I got a Q4 Etron a few months back. It’s crap.

                  There are a load of whoppers on YouTube bigging up new ev’s to boost their ratings.

                  It’s very easy to get sucked into the shite they spout.

                  But it’s all emperor’s new clothes.

                  Proper manufacturers still know their onions.

                  And when you get in a decent motor you can tell the difference.

                  Unless you’re the kind of ‘discerning consumer’ who prefers to go off ‘reviews’ than make your own mind up.

                  So 6 months ago the media were giving the govt shot for not closing enough to to drive zero emissions.

                  Now the govt are evil for not subsidising rising fossil fuel prices.

                  Have a friend from there. They said MC (not Mad Cyril) gets bouts of weird weather due to its elevation. Dunno how science that is but that’s what she said.

                    Currently 103/40 here in Oakland. Brutal heat. Just brutal. We usually get warm weather later in the year, when the day are shorter, so it’s not too bad. This heat this early in the year is very, very unusual.

                    Yeah, other places get hotter. But our infrastructure (housing, public transport, all that) is built for a more temperate environment. Walls are thin. No AC. When it gets like this, you can’t go anywhere or do a damn thing.

                    EDIT moving to Scotland immediately. Midges > 100 degree June weather
