Heno Head says New Zealand. Reports of their death have been greatly exaggerated IMO. I think it’ll be close - maybe 5-8 points in it.
I think Jones has just about picked the right team for the game, bar the Farrell / Smith axis at 10/12. I’d have Slade in there for sure. Otherwise, it’s combative all over the park, back 3 is my preferred one for England, I like the inclusion of Van Poortvliet from the off, and the 6/⅞ combo looks well balanced.
How you feelin about Australia?
Heno Get used to it mate. You’re gonna be favourites in pretty much every game you play between now and the World Cup! Sat really uncomfortably with me in the lead up to the 2003 World Cup, and that ended up ok…
Heno Yeah - wouldn’t have been disappointed if he’d gone after the 2019 World Cup. As it is, I think he’s the only option for the ’23 RWC, but hopefully then on his way.
Off to Twickers shortly.
Is hospo too.
We go again.
Anybody else fuming when we kicked it out to finish the game rather than have another go at them? Terrible attitude for a professional sportsman.

Amps Yes. Gutless. Most of the excuses I saw were that the ref was so inconsistent, that he could easily penalise England, and let New Zealand win the game. Don’t buy that at all…
All this said, England were by far the poorer team for 68 minutes. An excellent finish, and a draw shouldn’t detract from their failings of the first 3/4s of the match.
Thoroughly enjoyed Twickers on Saturday!
