I’ve spent so much time as the coal face I don’t notice things like sound quality.
Cheers.

Sounds good, so I’ve made the leap from Spotify.
One thing that’s bugging me though is that Apple Music automatically scoops up all my house mp3’s, massively clogging up my non-'ouse listening.
Fur king annoying to say the least
Kells77 bought the new Avery album on Itunes and can confirm classed as “lossless” on Apple Music but when downloaded still the standard 256K .
How can they get away with streaming at a high rate/better quality than actually buying it?
Bandcamp for me going forward then….
The trick is not to buy stuff from Apple Music
Agreed, but sometimes it’s so easy to just right click on a track i’ve downloaded from Apple Music and buy it rather than go through the whole Beatport/Bandcamp process.
The price I have to pay for being a lazy shit I suppose! Suck it up……
Switched to Apple Music from Tidal, and my god the app is terrible.
Upgraded from Mojave to Big Sur a while ago and ever since, my Apple Music app is totally broken. Impossible to fix, too, so Apple Music is going in the sea.
Binned off Tidal and all my newspaper subs and gone for an Apple premium one for all the family.
Apple Music is obviously a shiterer functional option, but I think the overall benefits win.
Will just keep it uninstalled off my phone so it doesn’t fuck up my in-car listening.
Which is nice.
This piece of shit doesn’t remember playback position?! Even Mixcloud knows how to do that, even if you restart the device in between. Deffo a deal breaker, I don’t want to make a mental note where I left off every time I step out of the bus and arrive where I was going. Not even exclusive monthly Digweed-mixes can make me overlook that fault. Back to Tidal, I’ll reconsider if they ever update that.
Judging by my Google-search people have been asking for it for years.
I’ve never had an issue with playback position
You have an iPhone? Mate with one said the same. Well fuck them, I won’t give them money if they’re telling Android-users to fuck off. Although my googling turned up plenty of people with iPhone’s with the same issue. Tidal has no issues with that feauture whatsover, and is also lossless. All I’ll miss are the Dolby Atmos-mixes.
Tidal also has Atmos now.
