How come you never see a clear image of a so called UfO. It’s always grainy or out of focus. You would have thought by now what with all the latest hd cameras the images would be a lot clearer.

Dubman I’ve seen plenty of clear images, Dubbers. The ones the military declassified are InfraRed as they’re the only cameras that can lock onto the objects the radar operators pick up.

LT42 When F18A pilots upgraded their FLIR pods from AG73 to AG79 around 2012, objects started appearing all over the East coast off Virginia close to the ADIZ (Air Defense Identification Zone).

Why? What’s the correlation?

Cankles-McJeggings it’s like going from analogue to digital, longer distance mapping and vertical aswell as horizontal plot vectoring, meaning they can now see from the surface of the water up to 50k feet, rather than out in front of the aircraft only. Radar on commercial jets for example just see straight out as well as plotting between certain altitudes, important for weather mapping.

The photo the MoD released a few months ago of the Calvine case in Scotland is one of the best I’ve seen, I have a high res version of it. How do you upload from a phone on here?

LT42 you can use any image upload site - ie https://imgbb.com/ and then copy and paste the image url.

Matt there’s some mystery around whether it was USAF or RAF. It would be impossible to find the pilot at this stage. There’s an airbase nearby so its not clear if the jet is in the shot by chance or if it was scrambled.
