Just not techno
Eric Prydz might make pop music these days but he can knock out absolute bangers when he wants to. No problem with our guy.
Saw Ben Klock play to a room of about 30 people, White Rabbit in Beijing, circa 2010/11.
Given the sparse crowd and the fact that only about half of us were bang into it, Ben and I probably locked eyes about three times as he dropped an absolute banger.
In your face, Zack.
Absolutely ruined Bedrock at Heaven one time circa 2007, came on after Digweed and played some absolute tripe. That was an early bus home
Ben Sims is a legend, I was on acid in a field in 94 and he was making the speakers bounce. At least thats what I remember anyway.
Why did I misread the post as being from Ben Klock rather than Ben Sims?
Still though, the image of you and Klock catching eyes in a half empty club will live on no matter where this thread ends up.
Points down at the deck then points at you and nods. Love those moments.
This is what I love about prog house, it’s the music of the past, present and the future.
Or winning as I like to call it.
I can’t see him and David Holmes on the same bill.
Nothing cheesy about this set the other night. Might even get Zach shuffling his feet. Bit too hard for me though
Aftermath is a 10 minute absolute monster. Diggers played it out around the time it came out and it leveled the place. Good times had by all.
jonattonyeah Yup. His remix of 1983 even made Paolo Mojo famous for a few months
Hot take
Original by Mojo is better.
EDIT. Playing a Burning Man fundraiser in the coming weeks. Might have to pull 1983 out of the bag.
zackster The tracklist suggests not. Thankfully no Skyscrapers
jonattonyeah Perfect if your djing and need a turnout.
