And the howells essential mix from 2007 ranks as one of my favourite ever.

zackster TBF, Freeland comes off as extremely decent there. Doesn’t lash out or lecture the Wells branch employee. Is very calm andd doesn’t get up on his soapbox. Respect.

    I concur.

Ah I like Danny , taught one of the warm up sets in matter he done before Digweed was really good, also seen him in Amnesia around 01 for a renaissance night and he was top drawer, again I think he’s prob a better warm up dj

This is my point, he still hasn’t progressed from decent warm up Dj status.

      Why?

Because he’s not good enough as the main event.

zackster Never cared for him or understood the hype.

        But that’s enough about me.

        Oi oi etc etc.

Smallman1 you could fill a heavy book with the things you don’t know about djing. you do realize that playing a decent warm up set is significantly more challenging and delicate than just banging it out?

In the old days this was defo a ten pager!

He’s an excellent warm-up DJ. Just never quite got there for me with his peak time, main room sets. I don’t even mean that as a criticism. Just my opinion.

Too warm and funky for me. Never really reached a heads down going for it moment, at least never when I saw him.

Christian yeah that was the absolute pick of the bunch.

I was fortunate enough to hear Carl Craig play it at The End soon after it came out, which was a good moment.

Smallman1 Howells’s fans are fervent. Have been on the receiving end of their wrath many a time.
