It’s an excellent track, actually sounds like being drenched in sweat in a club somehow.
Carl Craig’s flurry of creativity around that time was one of the few good things to happen in electronic music in the mid-late 00s.
jonattonyeah howells isn’t special because he bangs it out. he always played great tunes across a variety of genres and meshed them seamlessly. i definitely enjoy is warmup slots and housier sets more myself, but the guy is a master at what he does.
TBF, Freeland comes off as extremely decent there. Doesn’t lash out or lecture the Wells branch employee. Is very calm andd doesn’t get up on his soapbox. Respect.
And the howells essential mix from 2007 ranks as one of my favourite ever.
Ah I like Danny , taught one of the warm up sets in matter he done before Digweed was really good, also seen him in Amnesia around 01 for a renaissance night and he was top drawer, again I think he’s prob a better warm up dj
