Sasha also played it at Space ‘that night’, but the RITM mix

Old-Dutch Same as Diggers. I still can’t get past that vocal though. Don’t care that it’s RITM.

Had a listen to Sydney CD2. A bit all over the shop for me. Mixing is rough, though Steel Blue and Stargazer got me back into it. I gave up at Words.

Going to re-listen to Chris Fortier’s Bedrock on the way home today. Remember it being a CD2 winner, but needs tobe confirmed. Hold tight…..

It’s a great one. Could not get into it when it was released, it felt too slow and techy. My tastes have refined since.

I would’ve certainly given it a good home. I think the days of me mixing records is coming to the end due to my tinnitus. Plus i wouldn’t take the risk of it getting damaged shipping it over….Thanks for the offer though.

Couldn`t get clearance for this one as well. Always wondered where this would fit in the mix.

Yeah, Zach’s got his Fortier-mixes wrong. The Balance was superb too mind.

apyssjw never seen this before - awesome, thanks!

Also interesting to see that he seemed to last minute change his mind from using the Quivver mix of Mercury & Solace to the dub of the original.

Also, CD2 only lists 8 tracks. Looks like Zoe and Fly were late, late editions too

No Humate remix on disc one either, which would have been a big loss

Dubman i hear you about the tinnitus. the offer is there if you change your mind.

mono-stereo just checked it out - what are you smoking? A few decent tracks but mostly tacky and lacking in character. Nowhere near as many classic tracks as the likes of 007 or Cream Resident.

Also, disc 2 peaks with the Big Brother theme ffs!

ScottBailey Bedrock was 2. Balance was 3, no?

Thought we were talking Balance. I am not at the top of my game currently!

zackster assuming that accounts for all your reviews over the last fews days too, right….😏

Ya’ll could never face the hard truths, especially where Digweed is concerned.

                  You’re trolling. Fuck off.

Amps Theres a lot of trolling going on in this thread. 😅

                    Love this

You say this as if it’s a bad thing? The Big Brother theme is Paul’s Xpander.

The New York GU was from the Marc Ballroom in New York, not Twilo. It doesn’t even resemble the mix that he actually played either.

I think that Oakenfold only played Twilo once, and that was in 1996. Apparently, an incident occurred when Oakenfold’s team wanted to hang some Perfecto banners etc, but the venue wouldn’t let them and were rude to his team, so he never went back.

SM001 I never tbought I’d see the day where GU9 CD2 and GU6 CD1 would take a hammering. Lockdown has had an untold affect on some. What has become of this place? 😪

LT42 An unknown vaccine side effect is an intolerance to Prog. What have we done!? 😨

alistair GU007 is suddenly amazing and GU006 Disc 1 is now shit.

Fabric 15 (Tyrant) disc 2 is a real growler.

                          Good on Twilo!

Amps Haha. It’s nowhere near as smooth as CD1. Steel Blue and Stargazer transitions were decent.

ScottBailey Buenos Aires listened to. Thought it was just fine still. Disc 1 is deffo better than disc 2 though. Starting with that Adamski track it’s going to be tough to recover.

Buenos Aires is a total banger, discs 1 and 2, superb.

Homegrove, I know someone from the Finnish embassy in my local and thus ended up drinking with a load of Finns last night. Literally 50% of the blokes do look like you (except with various coloured beards), and like heavy metal. All the cliches are true. And they get belted into oblivion on Lonkero and then shots. Actually, it wasn’t very interesting at all, no wonder you’re all depressed and suicidal. No niin.
