Raced twice in 6 days last week, seemed like a good idea when I signed up, not so much in practice lol. Finished 5th in a 16k trail race, which was a great result, but basically wrecked my legs.
Following Saturday I ran my first backyard on really tired legs. Managed 60k before I tapped, couldāve gone out for another loop, I had 9 minutes to start, but had lost my motivation by then. Thatās a tough format without a crew, thereās just not enough time between loops when you have to sort everything out on your own. Was definitely interesting and I learned a few things.
