  • John Digweed 'Live In' Series - Fabric, London

When was the last time we had a proper, all out studio mix from JD as opposed to recycling his club sets.

The Apple-sets are like that, just not released anywhere else.

    14 days later

Finally got to the end of this. Not a bad effort at all. Very enjoyable and one of the better ones but not the best. Disc 2 is the best disc for me.

Transition from Adante - Peter Dundov to Hey Kid - Claudya, Ripperton couldn’t be anymore satisfying. I am sure @Homegrove may know the tactic used here. Simple use of echo on the outgoing track?

Begins at 32:40 (Continuous Mix 3)

New Live In upcoming? Me and Wally will like it, smallman will trash it. If it is a Live In it’s probably one from South America. All of his last Stereo-appearance would be amazing. He broke his 2015 record this year there, I think he played for 12 hours.

What will also happen is that it will only be available in full on CD and in Bandcamp, and Spotify and etc will be missing tracks. This will be greeted with much bitching.

Homegrove kind of makes it pointless releasing it digitally. I know I don’t listen to any of them on Spotify anymore. I used to listen to some of the old ones which had the continuous mixes available on Spotify.

RichM if there are missing tracks it’ always down to licensing, not that Digweed chooses to omit tracks. The releases that are in full in streaming services he could clear all the tracks.

            LOL, excellent summary.

You also missed that loads of people simply won’t bother. I’m in this camp but also pondering bitching about it too

So this was a vinyl-package of Bedrock-releases only previously released digitally. Not a Live In. Hmph. I had my hopes up.
