Haven’t heard the Sasha mix, or seen the track listing, but better than his mix from the Bomb in 97? I somehow doubt it.

PDJ Now 16 years old… this is Sasha’s greatest ever mix:

I was at that night, it was indeed very good. He took a while to get going, but the last hour made up for it. That Stretch and Vern remix of Thom Yorke really went off. I didn’t know there was a recording of the set floating about, so thanks for that.

I think it was also the first time I’d seen Sasha live, but I’d have still preferred to have been able to hear him in 99/00 so I can’t endorse your opinion. My favourite recorded live set of his is probably from The Rub, Tampa, 21-05-1999.

Also, my mate slightly killed the excitement of Xpander getting played by shouting “omg it’s Xpander” the split-second it started coming in.

That mix from The Rub, Tampa was superb.

Rhouses can fuck off with his February 2000 Essential Mix dogshit.

            Ha.

I was at Leeds Uni at the time so took the (Biz)TransPennine Express train across. I fell asleep on the train back and woke up in fucking Northallerton. Then had to wait another hour on the platform freezing my tits off to get a train back the other way.

All you fuckers had your tops off, reaching for the lazers when BT goes into Timo Maas.

There was a smattering of top tunes but its not even in his top 5 according to Readers Digest.

Apparition - Chipinque into Radio Rage was the transition.

Way to set up and then drop an absolute banger, early doors.

From his post 2002 era, Ive always liked the Malta 4 hr mix from 2008.

                Opens with Sidereel - Silence

I recall the Panaroma Bar mix, must have been 2011-12 maybe, being great for an afterhour double drop night.

                  whatever
