Got few female friends who have traveled alone in North India. All of them have propositioned & touched up on long bus journeys especially the Sleeper buses when they first came to India. One of them stood up & started shouting a man. The bus pulled over and they dragged this guy of the bus & gave him a good beating. Then left him.

I’m sure there is Mao playbook where the media is banned from talking about rape in China. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was as bad out there, especially in the rural areas (which is where most of the horror stories in India comes from).
