My current thought process is: heart tells me we must defeat the evil of Putin and protect the democratic freedoms of the brave Ukrainian heroes, head tells me it would probably seem rash in hindsight to risk not just the entire human species but the existence of pretty much all species barring cockroaches for the sake of Ukraine getting the right to vote this decade.
I think they need to stop fighting back, do a deal with the Russians and then work towards their goals non-violently from there.
