NasserAlazzawi we’ve not really had a use case to develop one, we have Rapier which is more short range but no SAM capability that can take out ICBM.

The Americans do of course, not sure if NATO countries in Europe rely on them for protection, I assume we probably do

Hursty ICBM defense is a difficult one as modern systems are designed mostly to counter an attack in the ascent stage, so it all depends if the counter can happen close to a launch site and that generally is hard to predict. The Yanks are currently upgrading the Aegis systems, I’m not sure of they’re deployed in the EU.

alistair Thats’s a weak appeal to emotion / straw man argument / what-about-ery rather than a discussion of what appear to be the facts. War is horrible, end of. But why we are where we are is worthy of more analysis than just reading the headlines.
