Dubman Probably, as mentioned before, Ukraine never stopped bombing Donetsk and the surrounding areas and then they started the blockade on the Crimean Canal which for the Russians was a massive dislocation from Minsk II. The NATO build ups along the borders have been provocative also but I don’t know enough about why that has happened to be honest. From a neutral perspective I can see why Putin has felt threatened, not enough to go to war of course but at least I can understand why it’s become a powder keg. The only people devoid of any blame in this mess are the civilians, everyone else invloved has either directly provoked it or has played a part in the escalations. I find the “poor old Ukraine” line to be increasingly pathetic tbh. David Axelrod stating he can’t go to bed or turn off the TV because he feels he’s turning his back on the Ukrainian people, absolute shite talk and part of an increasing narrative. Nobody blaming this solely on Russia can say that with a straight face, it’s far more complicated than that. The US have played a huge part in this too whilst feigning support for a people they really couldn’t give two fucks about.
