Cheeky Liverpudlians make street meat go further by throwing it in a pot with what they scavage from bins on the Wirral and some Bisto

Is that a beet/pickled cabbage garnish or that just the underdone end?

The region of the Uk known as England has some really awful food

Parmo, is a dish originating in Middlesbrough, and a popular item of take-away food. It consists of a breaded cutlet of chicken or pork topped with a white béchamel sauce and cheese.

An English roast dinner for me is the blandest, most overrated food. The choice of little Englanders and anyone lacking in taste buds.

Don’t you talk about my good friend Ed Smallman that way!

Have to agree. It’s my comfort food so whatever but fuck’s sake have they heard of salt?

@zackster where are you on goetta

This thread is the most blatant re-picking of low hanging fruit in an attempt to get a 100-pager and regain some board credibility from Pondwater.

It should be closed down and Pondwater’s apartment bombed.

Have never heard of it. Neither has my mrs who went to Cincinnati for a while. Looks nasty.

There is this in Rauma where I partly grew up, and lived for 12 years before moving to Turku.

"It’s actually the sailors that have made lapskoussi known in many harbour cities around the world. The name of the dish has remained more or less the same everywhere: Labskaus (in Germany), lapskojs (in Sweden), lobscouse (in English). Lapskoussi has become a dish that belongs to the every day life of the inhabitants of Rauma, but it can also be served in special occasions when people want to celebrate something.

Most certainly there are as many lapskoussi recipes as there are cooks. The main ingredients are beef, pork and root vegetables. The extraordinarily delicious taste is the outcome of a long cooking time. The basic spices such as salt and pepper are enough."

The last sentence tells it all, bland as fuck.

Same as scouse (MC’s post), Nordic sailors introduced it to Liverpool.
