Dry-Tinder Tomaz vs Filterheadz - Sunshine
Tuuuune.
Have to say I’m a bit surprised that they’d play such a thing with their present day sound. Albeit no doubt it was pitched way down.

Dry-Tinder there’s new remixes of Sunshine, but they’re all over 140 bpm, so as lively as the original. Must’ve been one of them.
Homegrove the only remix of Sunshine new or old I’ve heard that isn’t gash is the new Coyu v1 one, and that’s basically cos it seems to be practically just a clean remake of the original. Even then though it’s still lacking a lot of the original’s tension and oomph, in part because one element it’s not really replicated is the weight of the original’s moody bassline.
Probably that one, it didn’t sound any different to the original.
Bedrock sounds awful.
@BlainSA What was the demographic in there? Sausage fest? Gammon central?
Interested who actually goes to these nowadays from the UK. I get the “sound” is appealing to other audiences ( South America) but wonder how many under 30s from the UK would drag themselves out midweek for one of these events.
I thought after Covid/Bunkers Diggers might do some different types of gigs in the UK - more bar centric/afternoon events/Boayt Party etc. rather than the staple club/festival circuit
IndustryStandard There did seem to be a reasonable amount of women this time for Bedrock (they mostly turned up later) and a small handful of youngsters, but it was predominantly 40-60s lol. Pretty much the same faces I’ve seen over the past 15-20 years though, just less of them.
He should just do a small intimate club now I think. One room only with him and maybe a guest.
BlainSA Remember him doing AKA at The End for his Choice album release one mid week. Was a great spot and a great night. More things like that really. Its not as though he really needs to coin it in every gig, and im sure he’d get more out of the smaller gigs vs E1 on a dingy Thu night.
Diggers must be reading this thread
Probably decided to wait and see how the Hernan, gig went, before booking the venue.
IndustryStandard That was a quality evening

Fingers crossed he reads others and ditches the label comps in favour of putting out some decent ones
500 40+ balding blokes with incontinence problems. Sign me up to a bedrock gig.
Cankles-McJeggings not too similar to the Leeds United hospo experience I would imagine. Except with the added bonus of possibly meeting Presto.
It was surprisingly youthful. Lots of corporate gob shites trying to woo clients. Not for me, I prefer standing on the terraces making nazi salutes.
Cankles-McJeggings “ Shadwell!”
