303abuser mate I’m jumping on at this post and haven’t read everything. But if you have ever had covid, a couple of our close friends in their 50s got over it and the fatigue started to go - but what lasted the longest was flashing anxiety which sounds like what you are describing.
It did subside but it took several months and really looking after themselves / getting out in nature.
Ignore me if that’s not what this is about but thought I’d reassure if it is.
CBD oil also helps (12% CBD from Karma Coast)

@Dan A mistimed laugh at the moment is a dangerous thing
NasserAlazzawi thanks, yeah i’ve talked to several people now who have described the same thing i’m going through. i think it a much more common and lasting side effect than is being discussed.
i had a couple of people say it took 9 or 10 months to feel normal again. if i can just get back to being able to run in the near future, i’ll be happy.
303abuser it’ll come good mate but I hear you with this as I saw it unfold with someone right in front of me. Like a micro panic attack, really not nice
Not sure I want to live longer, but otherwise this is motivating.
Jules72 cheers and yeah, i do meditate, just not as often as i should. the problem with theses anxiety episodes is that meditation/breath focus makes it worse. my doctor basically said i’m already doing everything i should be, short of meds, which i’m avoiding at all costs.
i think it’s just going to be a matter of time and slowly returning to normal fitness activities. i really believe being able to run again would help a lot, hopefully i can try next week.
I meditate to this Cartsy, hope that helps -
More chilled and miles better.
