Mental and Physical health hacks, resources and advice
hugopal Those “journalists” were probably also Just Stop Oil members who’d been paid to publicise the protests.
Well, some of them work for LBC, so I think they are journalists, what their politics are I don’t know. Either way, they shouldn’t be arresting anyone with a press card.
Nor should they shouldn’t be arresting people for peaceful protest.

Except carrying a press card doesn’t give you diplomatic immunity from being involved in an illegal activity.
(LBC news seems to be pretty heavily left leaning btw, considering the likes of James O’Brien and snapping up Emily Maitlis, wouldn’t be a surprise if some of its journalists are happily in cahoots)

Preventing so many people (and emergency services) going about their business and lives is hardly just “peaceful”.

From the footage I have seen, they were just reporting on it, not actively involved.
Some reporters that had their houses raided before the protests too.
Surely, if you try to be vaguely neutral on the topic, you can see that they are trying to silence them? You can see what they are doing with the law changes? You can see where this is going?
hugopal is hardly just “peaceful”.
Disagree. The corporatocracy has it’s claws into our society, our government and world politics. They have to be stopped. It won’t be comfortable for everyone. These protests could be much worse. Think how far we are from what we saw during the Poll Tax riots. This is nothing to what might follow.
Only one of the arrested worked for LBC another one was making a documentary about stop the oil not sure who the other worked for.
I wouldn’t say LBC steers to the left. O’ Brien certainly does . Nick Ferrari & Ian Dale certainly support the right and don’t forget Boris Johnson’s sister has her own show. The station is pretty even if you ask me.
Lets bump this over to the UK thread eh, we can keep this thread for all the different ways we’re gonna die.

Can anyone recommend a flavoured electrolyte that doesn’t break a fast when doing IF?

Nass is all over this on FB dan
A good old cup of tea?
whatever I use nuun tablets because they’re about the lowest amount of sugar I could find, but still 15 calories, so they’ll technically break a fast. I guess it depends on why you’re fasting and how much that matters. If you’re doing 16/8s for weight loss, it won’t matter much. If you’re on day 3 and looking for autophagy benefits, it won’t work.
If you need to be super strict, just take magnesium and potassium supplements along with salted lemon water, that’s probably the easiest solution.
I find a weekend on the Persians helps with the ole fasting.
Yeah I’m trying to be strict with it. It also needs to be something that can mask the saltiness. I think you’d have to be really sparing with the lemon juice. I’ve been looking into stevia based products. Is just a minefield with all the different products and trying not to waste cash.
whatever Just a splash of lemon juice is all I use and if you have to mask the salt, you probably don’t need sodium that badly. If I’m dehydrated, I can put a half tsp of salt in a glass of water and not even taste it.
