-si- Read an article about this. No love lost between them. The son was interviewed in the article too. Twas a good read. Thanks.
Along_the_Wire LT42 honestly Robert Shaw’s son was great and there were brilliant one-liners about his dad and him
Dan That play does look appealing - Big Jaws fan. Last time I went to the theatre was for American Buffalo with Damian Lewis, John Goodman and Tom Sturridge. Cap doffed for Lewis meeting all the punters afterwards, seems a top bloke.
Along_the_Wire Dan Luckily I read that they all hated each other filming it - would’ve wondered what the hell went on. Also knowing Robert Shaw died at 51 and his son was playing his part made it. It really was brilliant.
Wasily Smallman1 LOL. He is a good Southgate. Saw Roahl Dahl’s ‘The Witches’ at the National last week- really good fun- esp if you have kids
Smallman1 Off to see Macbeth at the Donmar later, which is nice. https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2023/dec/16/macbeth-review-david-tennant-thrills-in-this-high-concept-production
Wasily Smallman1 I’m also doing the other Macbeth with Ralph Fiennes later this year: https://macbeththeshow.com Have also booked in for Dorian Gray with Sarah Snook which I’ve heard is an amazing production after a run in Australia. https://doriangrayplay.com
Dan Last time I went to the theatre was for American Buffalo. Quite fancy the Scottish play, but this adaptation. https://macbeththeshow.com/
Along_the_Wire Just seen A Mirror with Johnny Lee Miller, thought it was excellent until the end and didn’t have a fucking clue what was going on. Turns out the first two minutes whilst I was having a piss were critical to proceedings. My missus watched the whole lot and didn’t have a clue either, but that comes as no real surprise.
