Wally SM seeing a poorly done tracklist get him FEWMIN

This is actually true. 😅

Homegrove the most surprising thing about that documentary was 2002 Sasha still talking about “shitting it” with nerves before a gig.

Jesus wept. Nice one for this. Not heard it for decades. Memory memory fucking lane or what.

I don’t think you know what the phrase “Jesus wept” is supposed to mean.

I think you’re a gobby, ill-informed prick, son. But until now I haven’t felt the need to interact with you.

Now fuck off and don’t bother me again.

What in what I said to you was “ill-informed”?

elrobertos Now fuck off and don’t bother me again.

I’ll bother you next time you make a tit of yourself - probably won’t be too long.

Smallman1 ’This 189 bpm clanking monstrosity is $1 you say? I’ll take all 30.'

        -si- Lol.

“Whats that you say, Jeff Mills has been playing this Serbian warlord-core in all his sets? Take my fucking 7 dollars and get that shit in my heavily discounted sale pile!”

@zackster was clearly most inspired by this period of Jeff Mills’ music:

Remember getting CDs off Ebay from America with recordings of some of the Delta Heavy sets.

Loved the warm up sets, was Jimmy Van M doing those?

This is a stand out track from those mixes. Obviously lost the CDs like to dimbo I am.

When I moved to the US in 2008 from the UK, Delta Heavy and Twilo were the catalyst of all my mates coming together and forming real lasting friendships. In a way this was their Acid House/Rave/Shellys/Eclipse period. Twillo even got various mentions at the wedding of two of them a few years back. Great group of people.

Sister had got me tickets to the Boston night for my birthday and to this day I regret missing it. Couldn’t score any pills, so a bottle of Goldschläger, an irish car bomb, a chicken shawarma, and some mad doobies doing the rounds at the warm up party got the better of me. Barely made the line and had to be taxi’d back home.

Friends and sis woke me up at about 3AM when they got back and introduced me to Domino’s “Burger Pizza” and I heard Northern Exposure East Coast for the very first time, Chicane, Little Bullet etc etc, so the night wasn’t entirely lost.

ScottBailey Love it! Fuck, I was just 20 years old then… for me it was a very special and exciting time to be party’ing. Everything felt so new and exciting.. I’m not sure if that was because of the time (the millennium etc) or the fact that this feeling is inherent to being that young..

Prob a perfect meeting of the elements. In the first part of the tape.. Is BT being a total douche hogging the interview.. lol

Miss the energy of those times.. everything seemed less defined.

zackster completely agree. in my third year of almaty prison in 1997 we had a burkenhead man who got locked up for a bit because no baksheesh. he played his bonkers cassette. even though the secret services were always trying to stick hot pokers under my testicles, I couldn’t get enough of it. and I am a very strict acid techno, and industrial, dark jungle gabber man. but that music was so innocently demented. that is why it is objectively less cheesy than sasha crying to epic house bt because it embraces being the joke of them all. Salutes from kazakhstan!
