Yeah Swayzak’s is the only one I still listen to sometimes. I’d even posted that Thomas Dolby track in the drive time thread last week.

I still haven’t listened to most of the discs though and never had a subscription. And to be honest most of the mixes I did buy or otherwise listen to were disappointments. The ones from Sasha and Digweed are both gash for instance.

Rob da Bank one is very good. Loved his eclectic room 3 sets there in the mid noughties.

It didn’t open till 1999…

Dave Clarke’s disc was also a big disappointment; probably the worst mix I’d ever heard from him.

It was a shame as I’d seen him tear up Room 2 on a number of occasions.

I’ve just remembered that Steve Bug’s disc was another of the rare ones I heard which was pretty good at the time.

I hate to agree with Hugo, but Bug was very good. Forgot about it, hope it’s in Tidal.

    EDIT: It is. Score.

Tiefschwarz was class as I recall. Had a couple of good nights out to them

I worked on the metal starecase that takes you downstairs around 98, so
it has a special place in my heart.

First night I went was Tyrant as they moved it from the End?

Dan Wake up mate! I am talking about room 3 (Fabric) mid noughties. I remember one particular RDB set around this time which had Simian Mobile Disco Hustler, Nirvana Polly and Cola Boy seven ways in it. Barely moved from the spot.

Definitely. I remember when it first released and went to a house party and the DJ must have played it every hour. By the end of night everyone was singing it.

Jacques Lu Cont is the GOAT fabriclive. The Diplo one isn’t too shabby.

Too many Fabric mixes to figure out which one is GOAT, but top of my head, the first Craig Richards, Hipp-E and Halo, Terry Francis, Michael Mayer, Akufen, Weatherall, Pullen, last but not least, Swayzak.

Pretty much stopped buying the CDs 2012. Can’t say I was too fussed about the stuff coming out from 2007 onwards. Surgeon, Wiggle and a few others were dece.

Homegrove The steve bug one is ace. Lux dementia is a stand out track from that. Still give that track a spin nowadays. And also the phonique track at the end.

nicksneddon that was a pretty banging mix, listened to it on a shroom trip on a beach, remember it well.

Enjoyed the Death in Vegas mix, was in my car for about two years straight.

nicksneddon Takes me back to the absolute carnage of their parties on a friday night

        They were excellent.

Saw them and the Stantons on the same night there.

Plumps opened up with this -

Remember seeing Adam Freeland at Fabric opening with this ….
