NasserAlazzawi I assume this is all aimed at the younger generation who use social media more to find the music / artists they like? Rather than us old farts who go hunting for music where the music is available to us - shops, streaming sites, beatport etc
It must be a massive ball ache for artists as everything is consumed quicker these days, unless you are seen to be out there, you are forgotten.
But years ago surely the situation was equally as bad? If you didn’t get into a few select music magazines then people didn’t know about you, unless they stumble across your music in a record shop, or through word of mouth. So it must have been hard back then to become a name. But I guess we cared less about the artists looks / lifestyle etc and just cared if the music was decent or not?
