That contemporary “rap” or “hip hop” that you hear nowadays with the use of autotune is absolutely fucking shit. Nobody has a good voice in this genre anymore. When I hear that track from the other year “Astronaut in the Ocean” I want to gouge my ears clean with an ice pick. Throw all these bastards into the sea. You too Rhouses.

    His songs are a right mixed bag, but if you’re including The Weeknd in those genres then he has an excellent voice.

        Just like every female pop artist bar one or two sound like Rihanna. It’s a “singing” style that’s popular and therefore sells. That’s all producers and record companies care about now. Rap artists from the 90s, all the top level guys had their own sound. Those days are over, stop kidding yourself. The Weeknd could be mistaken for Bruno Mars.
