Had to go on this today as the Circle and District were completely fucked when I left work. Very impressive, looks incredible and it took me less than three minutes to get from Paddington to Tottenham Court Road. The downside is that it’s gonna take me 1:45 to get home instead of the hour mark.
The Elizabeth Line
An hour 45 to get home? Strewth!
jonattonyeah tubes were fucked and had to go round the houses, been a nightmare to be fair

That signal failure at Earl’s Court proper fucked up my journey today!
Wonder how quick the journey from Reading to Paddington will be compared to GWR. Could be an emergency route for me in future.
Glad I worked from home today.
Cheers!
Been using the TOWIE express from Lpool St when Im on the office twice a week. Superb trains, on time, fast, clean and great use of space. Only use it to get to Stratford but impressed so far.
I could drive to Abbey Wood and use it to go straight into Lpool St , but the place looks like a right shit hole and scared the motor wont have any wheels left on it upon my return
How’s this possibly rail strike going to screw with you all?
It won’t nearly have a big impact as previously, as anyone who can wfh those days will.
Just hope train companies hurry up with driverless trains so we don’t have to put up with their strike threats when they want a pay rise. The rest of us have to suck it up or get another job if we want more money.
Feel a bit sorry for those who live in one of the world’s great capitals and have to travel so far to get in.
When I live within the inner circle of one of the world’s great capitals and can basically walk anywhere.
I am looking at Smallman in particular.
My 2156 from Waterloo was very comfortable last night. Bravo Britain
