Millsy Smallman1 yep. It was the worst Bedrock eva. Dave loved it because he played a remix of a Charli XVXCTYII track and the bars ran out of booze by 9pm and everyone had to drink St Clements.
zackster Tbf, if you are capable of having a room temperature IQ then Coxy seems like a fun time out.
Millsy Everyone wanking on back in the day about Cox playing on three decks. Yeah, great. His music selection has always been bone.
Homegrove He’s a party DJ. His last set at Space is fucking great. Did a rip before it disappeared from Youtube. 9 hours of classics.
RichM Says in that link that Cox will be playing his live set 3-5am, so maybe it could be a decent gig up to 3am then head home
C_J I quite like the cunt tbh. Proper OG. Some of his mixtapes in the early to mid 90s were legendary. Seen him tear the roof off a couple of venues. Doesn’t appeal to fans of Dixon either which is a massive plus.
LT42 There was a BPM special from around 92/93 with him and Trevor Rockliffe from Eclipse. Absolute belter of a show. 3 decks. Tearing the place up. Legend is thrown around far too easily but he’s certainly earned it.
Dan LT42 We booked Trevor Rockcliffe years ago (1994) he’s a top bloke. Even dished a out few promos of his new EP to the residents.
elrobertos Cox can be great fun when he’s playing house. Or an old school rave set. His techno mixes are beyond awful. Seems like a really happy and positive guy tho, and def one of the pioneers. For that he gets love.
Homegrove His self autobiography was dull because he’s such a positive bloke. No drama, apart from the 2007 shooting at his gig in South America. It was 300 pages of then this happened. Was fun reading about the 80s raves though.
bosstrabs Smallman1 Spent his early life in South London did Carl, ledge. Smallman, just because somebody spent some time in a place you happen to like doesn’t make them a ‘ledge’. Jade Goody was from South London. Was she automatically a ‘ledge’, or a daft racist bint with an IQ of 75?
