Cankles-McJeggings Smallman1 They played live at both 1st and 2nd Renaissance birthday parties and it was absolutely mint. At the 2nd, Heather Small was dancing by us and she made me feel like Dermot Small and her Heather Tall. She had to be at least 6ft 2 in heels. Massive headlights too. She was with Martin Offiah who looked like he was properly off his shopping trolley but maybe just mesmerised by the thought of drowning in her bangers later. I’m all in for integration so shook both their hands and welcomed them in Swahili. 👍

Cankles-McJeggings Yeh for sure . I’ve never been back to Mansfield but it’s now a car park. I went to see the hac when it got changed into flats and that was a bit weird, didn’t really bother me though. The worst for me was Shelley’s as its only 15 mins up the road and we went to see it not that long after it got levelled and developed. It’s so far removed from how it was you can’t actually tell or even imagine where it was at all. There’s a dual carriageway running through it, a supermarket and a carpark. Was a proper gut wrencher seeing that. Felt like a part of growing up had been taken. Someone posted a pic of Mansfield and that was pretty much the same story. Shelley’s was a shit hole full of rats to be fair but Mansfield was a pretty grandiose building and I think an historical theatre. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was listed.
