  • Sasha's Glastonbury set

Some great tunes here and there but unfortunately the rest of the mix is filled with mediocre at best tunes he’s played to fucking death. ie ‘Aviator’, that awful Kolsch collab and some Patrice Baumel remix that all sound the same.

Just find him dull + boring these days.Bit like Ed.

I’m the beating heart of the board Strumsy!

Enjoyable 90 minute listen that. Pumps pretty hard as you would expect with a festival set. Did he play for longer?

Recognise a few from his set here the other week which was similiar but darker. The Platipus sounding number on 15mins and the one at 40mins that sounds like a LNOE release.

      SM001 ie ‘Aviator

As I mentioned he played a new mix of that here which sounded immense, far better than the one he’s been trying to draw blood out of

      LT42 40mins

Escape Artist - Energy Breakthrough (Adam Pits Lightspeed Mix) [Phonica] pitched down obvs.

LT42 The Platipus sounding number on 15mins

Good shout. Could be a POB track or remix.

SM001 the Escape Artist track is straight out of 1997

Festival or not. Dermot would be turning in his grave if he’d listened to that tripe.

Sad to see Sasha’s been downgraded to “UK Legend” in his press blerbs. Has been relegated to Seb Fontain and Tall Paul territory.

zackster He wasn’t even one of the headliners on creamfields website. How the mighty have fallen.

          Boring, uninspiring tech-house/melodic-techno-by-numbers.
          Business as usual.

Yah know who’s name stays in the big font, at the top of the flyer?

Yeah, I played it on a car ride back from Tampere, hoping it would keep me alert behind the wheel after a full day. It did give me energy that’s for sure.
