Memories of S & D’s communicate with Eric Clapton there. Definitely a JD selection that one
David Morales
Yeah, love that clapton remix…
Caught a set of his back in the day at Turnmills. It was awful.
Not arsed about his dj’ing. His production skills on the other hand. Just so many crackers. His red zone mix of Esperanza with Luciano is as cool as fuck
This is still an unbelievable remix. Turns the record inside out.
Simply one of the greatest tracks of all time
He set the bar with his Def /Red Zone mixes.
I’m a massive fan.
Massive fan of the Def Mix crew.
Christian Great track
Always though it was odd when Satoshi Tomiie did a NuBreed. Like Nu nothing. That dude has been around for ages.
Don’t think I could name an actual favourite track of his, as there are so many, but would say that his Ministry of Sound Sessions Vol 7 compilation is superb.
Anthemic
Still remember hearing this for the first time in Manumission in 98
Always had a soft spot for that tune. Just so damn catchy.
Tribal_Goose Caught a set of his back in the day at Turnmills. It was awful.
Always been baffled by the good producer who can’t spin. Production is roughly a billion times harder than djing of any sort. I guess they just don’t put the hours in or, erm, something.

Early Morales….One of the early NYC djs to come to London (during acid house)….Ironically he says his Red Zone sound was influenced by UK…
This is still a particularly good production. A case of the remix being much bigger than the original
Carl Craig comes to mind. Brilliant producer when he was at his best. Terrible, terrible DJ. I suppose Sync has fixed many of these issues.
