Amps Tribal_Goose Caught a set of his back in the day at Turnmills. It was awful. Always been baffled by the good producer who can’t spin. Production is roughly a billion times harder than djing of any sort. I guess they just don’t put the hours in or, erm, something.
alistair Not arsed about his dj’ing. His production skills on the other hand. Just so many crackers. His red zone mix of Esperanza with Luciano is as cool as fuck
jonattonyeah sbando Always though it was odd when Satoshi Tomiie did a NuBreed. Like Nu nothing. That dude has been around for ages.
Alias-The-Jester jonattonyeah This has been done to death. Nubreed was the DJ’s that were really coming through in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Most of them Nubreed DJ’s had been around for ages before their Nubreed releases. It is actually in the sleeve notes to Anthony Pappa’s release.
gcw Don’t think I could name an actual favourite track of his, as there are so many, but would say that his Ministry of Sound Sessions Vol 7 compilation is superb.
jonattonyeah Amps Carl Craig comes to mind. Brilliant producer when he was at his best. Terrible, terrible DJ. I suppose Sync has fixed many of these issues.
Dan Early Morales….One of the early NYC djs to come to London (during acid house)….Ironically he says his Red Zone sound was influenced by UK…
alistair This is still a particularly good production. A case of the remix being much bigger than the original
C_J I always remember Needin U coming out around the same time as a certain type of disco biscuit bearing the name of an oriental automobile manufacturer. absolute scones.
