Another great side effect of privatisation now to be banned thankfully

“A one-off rise to energy bills of up to £17 a year to help prevent suppliers going bust is being considered by the UK’s energy watchdog.”
I’m not sure how these companies are coping at this difficult time, the shareholders mental health must really be taking a hit

Everyone happy still paying way over the wholesale price for gas and electric?

We are practically down to pre “energy crisis” levels now and yet everyone is still getting royally shafted on the price cap
Out of interest, what’s everyone’s current monthly gas and leccy bill? I’m on about £270 which is a lot less than a few months back but still wank.

180 every two months for leccy and about 40 per month for oil. i do live on my own though
200pcm for gas and electric here. Was 80pcm in 2020 for context.
Provider wants to drop that to 130pcm based on usage but I’ll prob leave as is, it soon gets eaten up in winter
200 / Month. Gas central heating. Electric car that I charge on cheap electricity. Evens out throughout the year.
Just checking if anybody uses lunar months for their bills?
It feels like the c in pcm is redundant. And makes you sound like a letting agent.

Fucking hell, do you all live in squats or something?
Either that or you’re all freezing to death.
