My pockets contain little more than dust.

And usually when listening to music I prefer YouTube if available anyway.

Would you ride Amelie Lens and - if so - combien du pipes?

I actually listened to it quite long, almost an hour. My work commute home + clearing our drive way off snow when I got home. Did not actually hate it, but I doubt I’ll pick up where I left off the next time I’m listening to something on my phone.

You lasted longer than I did Hannu. I bailed after 25 minutes….just not my cup of tea really

alistair They fell on hard time over 20 years ago. TBH, I could not think of a single artist that would make a GU worth purchasing.

        Fair enough, apologies

I’m only on track 4, but I thought she played techno. Do I have that wrong or is this not just hard trance?

Echo Yeah this is shit, all the pace of techno with none of the nuance or texture.

I found out that I could get a free trial of Spotify Premium, so I gave this album a whirl.

The first disc seems a complete mess. Not quite sure what she was trying to do but it didn’t really function; disappointed.

The second disc is infinitely better - much more in line with what I expected from her. I think it’s a worthy addition to the GU catalogue.

Being ultra critical, I thought she still could have squeezed another big tune in towards the end of disc 2, but there are still plenty of heavy hitting tracks and a few interesting twists along the way.

Trance/hard trance has been big in techno for years now.
