erik what bothers me about anything like this recently (I remember it starting with The Last Jedi) is how fucking bad the fans are in fantasy/ sci-fi/ etc. So fucking toxic cry babies.

      Thing is, even though it’s wide of the mark, it’s still and ‘in’ to Middle Earth, it will make more people interested in the source material, so it’s not all bad

                    I agree. Adults being into this shite can fucking do one.

                    Although I did watch Harry Potter on a BA flight recently, because 1) There was fuck all left to watch that I hadn’t already seen and 2) Just to spite the fucking cunts who are cancelling JK Rowling for allegedly being ‘transphobic’.

                        Went to the cinema to see the first Lord of the rings and fell asleep within half an hour. It’s a load of old tripe the same as potter.
