Smallman1 Greetings from Ischia / Italy. Just had a cracking pizza, bottle of rouge and tiramisu. We go again!
Smallman1 hugopal No such thing as “a cracking pizza” that’s sans cheese. There is when you’re in Italy chief!
Jules72 Not sure I liked Ischia much when I was there - there are way nicer places in Italy…. Sorry Ed 🥺 But this place had the most incredible Bruschetta: https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g580214-d4777662-Reviews-Snack_Bar_Bagno_Gino-Ischia_Isola_d_Ischia_Province_of_Naples_Campania.html
BlainSA If you like your history, the Naples region is a good place to visit for sure. Aside from that, it also had the worst music I’d ever heard. Some kind of 150bpm happy euro trance stuff in a bar with Italians trying to dance to it (and failing).
mono-stereo Love those square pizzas you get in Naples! They’re great because instead of them being round, they’re square!
mono-stereo bosstrabs The pizzas I enjoyed in Naples where rectangular if I’m being absolutely honest. For the record, I’ve never had a square pizza or even seen a square pizza. I have no interest in square pizza.
Jules72 Haven’t been to Capri, Ischia’s sister island, and I’d love to… otherwise best part of the area is the Amalfi - stunning.
Mad_Cyril mono-stereo The pizzas I enjoyed in Naples where rectangular if I’m being absolutely honest. For the record, I’ve never had a square pizza or even seen a square pizza. I have no interest in square pizza. 🚨🚨Liz Truss appears to have hacked Mono’s account 🚨🚨
bosstrabs Square (rectangular) pizza just reminds me of the effort you always did in Home Economics (Cooking) classes in school. Made a pizza on a baking tray, then cut it in squares. The fact that I could do it at home means I’m reluctant to pay for that.
Old-Dutch Mono has charred bodies all over his garden. Been there - done that - seen it all before. BORING
